Lustria's Skink Federation Cup
Greetings players and coaches alike! A very special time is upon us here in the glorious land of Lustria! The Royal Skink family has been contacting coaches and teams all over the kingdom for the inaugural Skink Federation Cup. The Royal Skink Family believes that Skinks are the superior Lizardmen and they aim to prove it with the help of Nuffle Be Praised! Eight all Skink teams will be assembled for a round robin tournament right here in Lustria! At the end of the season the top four teams will square off in a knock out competition to determine the best Lizardmen in all of Lustria. The bottom four teams will also participate in a consolation knock out tournament along side the play offs as a reward to the coaches for their participation. The champion will be invited to the Royal Palace where they will meet the Royal Skink Family and be presented with the Skink Federation Cup.
By-Laws
All coaches are expected to follow all NBP rules at all times within the competition.
Under no circumstances will concedes be allowed. If you are unable to play your game let a commissioner know and we can get the logistics sorted out for you.
Coaches are allowed only a team consisting entirely of Skink players. No Saurus, Kroxigor, Mercenaries(excluding Skinks), or Star Players will be allowed within the competition. (All other inducements will be allowed.)
Failure to follow the guidelines of team building will result in your team being ineligible for play. A team/coach that is deemed ineligible for play will receive a league managed loss if they are to take the field before being deemed eligible once again. Multiple instances of taking the field with an ineligible team will result in the team's/coach's expulsion from the Skink Federation Cup.
Coaches are encouraged to name their players and or follow a team theme just for the role-play and fluff aspect of the league. This is in no way enforced or required and will not influence team rank, standings, or final placement. I see as it as a form of immersion that adds a bit of depth to the league, but if it isn't your thing no harm no foul.
Coaches are encouraged to play their games within 7 days of the beginning of the in game week. I know we are all playing in different leagues so this will not be a strictly enforced rule but please do try to get games played within 14 days or less of the beginning of the in game week. Getting all games played and confirmed in a timely manner will help prevent coach burnout and maintain maximum interest from all parties involved.
Standings will follow the official NBP-Pro rubric 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. Seeing as how everyone will play each other once tie breakers will be decided by head to head wins. In the need of a second tie breaker it will be decided by SPP generated in round robin play.
The week will advance once all games for the week are completed and approved. This is to encourage fast play as the possibility of advancing multiple in-game weeks in one week is possible.
The Faster we all play our games the more games we will all get to play!
Post-Season Play
As it currently stands, post-season play will consist of one knockout tournament and 3 bowl games. The top four teams will be put into Lustria's Skink Federation Cup Shoot Out where they will be playing to be crowned the one true champion! The remaining six teams will be placed into 3 consolation bowl games based on their league standing, 5v6, 7v8, 9v10. The winner of these bowl games will be provided with the opportunity to name their respective bowl for the following season. (Post season structure is sunject to change with league approval.)

My Message to Coaches
If the interest is there I would really like to see this be a perpetual league that continues running along side NBP-Pro for many seasons. As I have mentioned before in the PS chat this is a Blood Bowl science experiment. I want to see what crazy reality unfolds when we put 88+ Skinks into a league and allow the coaches to build the team as they see fit. This has the possibility to be great, or the possibility to go up in flames rather quickly. Any and all feedback is welcomed from the participating coaches. If there is anything that can be done in the future to make the tournament more fun please let me know. I want to main objective of this league to be fun for all parties involved.
