Earlier today before morning workouts we were about to catch up with coach DaltMc just outside of Nuffle's Gym the home stadium for #Swole. This is what he had to say to us.
"Hey Coach! We greatly appreciate you giving us the opportunity to come out here and tour the weight room and watch the team prepare for this week's game."
"Well I appreciate you coming out here and taking a concern about our workout regimen. It's not often that you see media that is just as interested in player physical fitness as I am. I can't keep these boys out of the weight room. Hell they're even lifting weights while they're doing keg stands at the frat parties. Come to think of it they went through a keg this morning during scrimmages. I suppose this is where I should say that the ink is still drying on our sponsorship deal with Bloodweiser. They've been supplying us with an ungodly amount of alcohol since the morning after last week's game. In all honesty, I don't think they've been sober since and I'm okay with that because they've stayed hype since. These boys are ready to play, their energy has done nothing but rub off on me I'm loving it!
"So when setting up this interview you mentioned that you always scrimmage before you hit the weight room. How was today's scrimmage?"
"This morning we had a great team scrimmage with the development squad from across campus Beta Omicron Omicron Beta. BOOB is actually the frat that all the boys of #Swole are a part of and you will see some of those players on the squad soon enough. These scrimmages are a good way for both our pro and development teams to learn from each other as they both have something to teach the other. Tomorrow we will work on some defensive training against a High Elf Team that I have invested in under the name of Here Come Dem Bois. I know that we play Norse this week but I feel that proper defensive training can come from playing the quick and illusive elves. We do look to get some scrimmaging in with a Norse squad before our game with the Arctic Underoos. I have been eyeing a squad and I may just be keen on making an investment for the boys to scrimmage on Wednesday morning.
As for the actual scrimmage started off with some kick off return drills and really emphasized the importance of the cage during the game. Dwarves aren't widely known for their offensive presence but that's okay because there are many ways to play Blood Bowl. I'm building these boys into a force to be reckoned with and by the end of the season I don't think anyone is going to want to even step onto the field with us. I'm aware I'm making myself some big shoes to fill but these boys are serious. They will stop at nothing to become a champions, they are thirsty for greatness! I don't think I've ever had a squad that was as passionate about Blood Bowl as these boys. The proverbial cherry on top is the fact that even those boys down in BOOB are just as if not more hyped than the pro squad. Needless to say that we are all looking forward to this season."
"Speaking of The Arctic Underoos, what is your game plan for this week? We have on record that you have never faced a Norse team as Dwarves. Are you worried about the match up?"
"Worried about the match up? I know that this is the first time that I've spoken with your publication but allow me to add that I do not worry about any match up. Every second that you spend doubting and worrying is a second you could have spent preparing, building, and succeeding. Those Norse are just taller Dwarves with worse armor and a couple of puppies running around the field. This week you're going to get more of the same #Swole team that you saw last week. A HARD hitting Dwarf team that isn't afraid to throw its weight around. We're a team with minimal tricks and maximum fists. As I said before we're going to stick to our hard hitting strategy and I think we'll see the numbers game fall our way rather quickly. While it is true that I have never faced Norse at the helm of a Dwarf team I can assure you that the match will only go one way and I don't think I have to tell you which way.
