By-Laws
All coaches are expected to follow all NBP rules at all times within the competition.
Under no circumstances will concedes be allowed. If you are unable to play your game let a commissioner know and we can get the logistics sorted out for you.
Coaches are allowed only a team consisting entirely of Skink players and 1 Kroxigor. No Saurus, Mercenaries(excluding Skinks), wizards, or Star Players will be allowed within the competition. (All other inducements will be allowed.)
Failure to follow the guidelines of team building will result in your team being ineligible for play. A team/coach that is deemed ineligible for play will receive a league managed loss if they are to take the field before being deemed eligible once again. Multiple instances of taking the field with an ineligible team will result in the team's/coach's expulsion from the Skink Federation Cup.
Coaches are encouraged to name their players and or follow a team theme just for the role-play and fluff aspect of the league. This is in no way enforced or required and will not influence team rank, standings, or final placement. I see as it as a form of immersion that adds a bit of depth to the league, but if it isn't your thing no harm no foul.
Coaches are encouraged to play their games within 7 days of the beginning of the in game week. I know we are all playing in different leagues so this will not be a strictly enforced rule but please do try to get games played within 14 days or less of the beginning of the in game week. Getting all games played and confirmed in a timely manner will help prevent coach burnout and maintain maximum interest from all parties involved.
Standings will follow the official NBP-Pro rubric 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw, and 0 points for a loss. Tie breakers will be decided by head to head wins. In the need of a second tie breaker it will be decided by SPP generated in round robin play.
The week will advance once all games for the week are completed and approved. This is to encourage fast play as the possibility of advancing multiple in-game weeks in one week is possible.
The Faster we all play our games the more games we will all get to play!

!!!UPDATE!!!
The current format in mind with 16 teams is a 6 game season with 1 guaranteed post season game for all teams. The league structure will consist of 4 divisions of 4 teams. Those 4 teams will play each other once, after those three games there will be a restructure all first place teams will be placed in a division of their own where they will play each other once. The same will be done for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place for each division. Once all 6 games are played we will enter into the play offs. The 8 teams with the best record (all NBP-Pro rules apply for standings) will be placed into a knock out bracket with the prize being the ever glorious Lustria's Skink Federation Cup! The remaining 8 teams will also be placed into a knock out bracket for Sotek's Broach, a beautiful broach blessed by Sotek himself. The proposed structure for these tournaments will be 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, and 4v5. To prevent dragging and burn out this season we will move at a faster pace. There is a soft cap of 1 week to play your game it helps keep the season moving but we all know life gets in the way and this will be many coaches' secondary or third league. For that reason there is the hard cap of 2 weeks to play your game. Baring anything pre-approved by me all games withstanding at the two week mark from reset will be league managed. In this situation a coach who made no effort to plan or play their game will be given a 2-1 loss. In the situation that both coaches were unable to meet for their game an extension can be made as long as it does not impede other coaches play. Upon failure to receive a reasonable extension both coaches will be given a 1-1 draw. This league can go as fast or as slow as the participating coaches are willing to let it go. If all games are played and confirmed before week's end the round will advance early. This is to allow for faster pace of play/ to prevent dragging and burnout. Due to the demand this will be a 16 team league!
